Key Responsibilities:
– Provide expert medical consultations and prescribe medicinal cannabis to eligible patients. – Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop personalised treatment plans.
– Ensure compliance with Australian regulations and guidelines related to medicinal cannabis prescriptions.
– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and provide guidance on the use of medicinal cannabis.
– Stay updated with the latest research and developments in the field of medicinal cannabis.
– Participate in training programs and continuous professional development.

Eligibility Requirements:
– Must be a registered medical practitioner in the Philippines. – Must be eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
– Experience in prescribing medicinal cannabis or a strong interest in the field is preferred.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
– Willingness to complete required training related to medicinal cannabis prescribing. – Must meet all requirements for AHPRA registration, including verification of qualifications and professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications: – Experience in pain management, oncology, neurology, or related fields.
– Prior experience working with medicinal cannabis or similar therapeutic treatments.
– Knowledge of Australian healthcare regulations and the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) guidelines.
