P & C Insurance Data Specialist

PLEASE NOTE:
1. We are looking for a candidate located in the Manila area.
2. Candidates who have relevant experience in the US insurance industry (Personal and Commercial lines) may qualify for an increased rate of pay.

The role of Insurance VA/Data Specialist for Actsphere Insurance Group will perform the following functions (including but not limited to):

-Assist customers with servicing their policies
-Communicate with clients and carriers via phone, email, and text
-Be responsible for inputting data accurately into the company management software
-Assist company sales agents in requotes
-Route incoming calls to the correct department
-Show respect and friendliness at all times in their interactions as a representative of Actsphere

This is a work-from-home position, but Actsphere is very much a team-oriented company. The Data Specialist will work closely with other members of the team. The hours for this position alternate between 8:30 am to 5:30 pm CST and 9:00 am to 6:00 pm CST.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1. Must have relevant experience in the US insurance industry
2. Must be an assertive self-starter
3. Possess a genuine willingness to learn; be intuitive and resourceful; and be coachable
4. Ability to communicate professionally both orally and in writing in English
5. Display leadership skills, including the ability to delegate, engage, and inspire others
6. Have a strong work ethic and leadership skills
7. Must work well in a team environment

Other Requirements

1. Ability to use personal computer, calculator, agency automation system, and proficiency in various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
2. Actsphere will provide a company laptop to employees located in the Manila area, but employee MUST provide his/her own additional monitor/s (see number 3 below)
3. A dedicated workspace free of background noise, at least 1 additional monitor (2 preferred), and a high-speed internet connection are necessary for this position
