And to do that, we collaborate with clients to create and implement case specific strategies tailored to reaching favorable results. Come join us in making a difference.

This is a role that will require decision-making, responsibility and independence in your work. We need you to handle the review of attorney-client status letters, involving everything from checking grammar/punctuation of transcribed letters, to then drafting additional letters based on context, to ensuring that all other necessary tasks are being worked on. So, are you ready?

JOB OVERVIEW
Main Responsibilities:
– Reading and comprehending case status reports that have been dictated by an attorney, ensuring that there are no grammar and punctuation mistakes, and cross-referencing to make sure that all names are spelled correctly.
– Following attorney-transcribed instructions to draft any additional letters to different parties and making sure any action items are tasked and being worked on by others.
– Will need to be able to sift through large client files with speed and accuracy.
– Familiarity with law-related parties and terms is not required, but will most certainly help.
– Prioritizing urgent tasks and being able to triage work according to what should be completed first

We’re looking for someone who produces a high level of work with meticulous attention to detail. You will be given a certain amount of independence and responsibility to figure out what you need to do and to do it correctly.

Here are some specific examples of the tasks you’ll be handling:
– Going through a case status report – verbalized by an attorney into a 3rd party app/service, that has been transcribed by that service – to ensure that there are no spelling or grammatical mistakes, and that all party names are spelled correctly. The transcription service is fairly accurate, but there will be mistakes and it is your job to find them and clean up the mess.
– In addition to scanning the status report/letter for standard mistakes, you’ll also need to grasp the context of letter to understand what’s going on at a high level.
– You are going to be asked to prepare further correspondence with the various parties of the cases. These will vary from requesting medicals, prescriptions or MRIs from physicians to inquiring with the adverse attorney or co-party about settlement possibilities, to other legal process follow-ups.

Thanks for reading this far! To apply, at the title of your cover letter application response, please write “Pacific Admin Solutions’ Rockstar”. Also please send me a video introducing yourself (can be a link to a loom or YT vid) briefly discussing the hardest challenge you have faced and how you overcame it (custom, non-template video please). Make the video under 2 minutes.

DESCRIPTION OF IDEAL CANDIDATE
– Takes Pride in Mastering the Details
You have an eye for detail. When you say your work is correct, it’s correct. You cross all of your T’s and dot all of your I’s. You will double (or even triple) check your work to make sure that you did it the correct way.

– Listens To Instructions
Double checking your work doesn’t mean anything if you didn’t follow the correct instructions in the first place. You will listen (or read) to the instructions given to you, making sure that you understand the task at hand. And if the task doesn’t make sense to you, you won’t be afraid to ask to make sure you do the job correctly.

– Does the Job Right
You find a sense of accomplishment in ensuring that you do the job correctly, as you were instructed to do. If you have a question during the onboarding or learning process, you aren’t afraid to ask in order to make sure you do the job right.

– Works Well Independently and on a Team
You are able to take on a task when you aren’t given specific instructions for every single detail involved, and can use a higher level understanding to assume responsibility for the work and make proper decisions. At the same time, you are able to work seamlessly with others and can exercise empathy and teach a teammate that needs help.

– Gets Stuff Done
You take charge and get stuff done! You know you can ask for feedback and resources, but you don’t make excuses. You have a passion and an internal drive to make things happen!

– Self Starter
You’re self-motivated, happy working on your own with minimal guidance. You don’t understand why some people just sit there when they haven’t been told what to do.

– Thrives With Hard Work
Some people shrink when given a big project. Not you – you say “bring it on!” It’s just one more opportunity to prove what you’re capable of.

– Solves Problems
Reason, logic, and process is your zone of genius. Your friends are often amazed at how you find solutions so quickly, often before they even realize there’s a problem.

– Thrives Behind The Scenes
At a concert, you resonate with the important people behind the scenes who make everything happen flawlessly.

– Growth-minded
You’re always learning, always growing. If you weren’t, life would be stale and boring.

– Takes Ownership
You love to be in charge, and you want more responsibility. You’re confident to say, “let me handle this.”

– You Do What You Say
If you say you’ll do something, you’ll do it. And if you can’t do it, you’ll say you can’t. (Why do some people make promises they can’t keep?!)

– Pleasure To Work With
Life’s too short to work with @ssholes. We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude who knows how to communicate with his/her coworkers.

COMPANY CULTURE
We’re transparent; ask if something isn’t clear, feel comfortable to express your difference of opinion. We work hard, we have fun, we believe in a fair work-life balance in the legal field.

PAY
Based on ability and experience, ranging from around 35,000-40,000 PHP per month, for this full-time role (depending on a combination of skills, ability and experience). If you believe you have more to offer, tell us what you’d like and why you’re able to deliver more value.
