About the role

Job Description:
We are looking to add a Packaging Designer looking to join a growing team and hungry for a great opportunity with great growth potential. This position will report into our Chief Design Officer and Chief Product Officer for Packaging Design needs, while working closely with our Brand, Supply Chain and Production departments.

This person should have 2-5 years of Professional Experience and be able to produce example files for Packaging Designs. Proficiency in Project Management Software and Slack is highly preferred, mostly Notion, but also interested in , Jira, Clickup and/or Trello.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Packaging Design:
Lead the development of innovative packaging designs in collaboration with internal design teams. These will be used for Packaging and Marketing projects.
Ensure that designs meet brand standards, product specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Utilize software like Adobe Creative Suite and Autodesk tools to create and refine packaging designs and renderings.

2. Project Management:
Oversee packaging design projects from initiation through execution to ensure timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
Track progress using project management software such as , Clickup, Jira, or Notion.
Use existing workflows to produce useful designs.

3. Collaboration & Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and any potential risks or issues.
Work with our Production Department to ensure suppliers have all assets needed to produce packaging.

4. Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the packaging design and project management workflows.

About you

Qualifications:
2-5 years of experience in packaging design and project management.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and Autodesk software (e.g., Autodesk 3ds Max, Autodesk Maya).
Experience using project management tools such as , Clickup, Jira, or Notion to plan, track, and manage projects.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills (Preferred):
Knowledge of packaging regulations and compliance standards (e.g., FDA, ASTM).
Familiarity with CAD software for structural packaging design (e.g., ArtiosCAD).
Experience with agile project management methodologies.

At this time, we offer pay on a bi-weekly basis via for ease of payments.
Starting 30 days after the working relationship has started, we offer Paid Vacation and Sick time depending on the number of days remaining in the calendar year. These pools of time will be reset at the beginning of each calendar year.
For this position, we are offering a weekly salary range of $700 USD depending on experience, with the expectation of a 40-hour work week. During training the first few week’s hours may be lower, but the salary rate will remain the same. The total per month would then be $ 2,800 USD. For highly skilled applicants, this can be negotiated upon completion of the application!
