Job Description:

The Packaging Designer at doja will be responsible for creating and executing innovative packaging concepts for our DIY products that align with brand guidelines, market trends, and customer expectations. The role requires a passion for design, an eye for detail, and a knack for turning complex ideas into practical and visually appealing solutions.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop product packaging solutions that resonate with our target market while aligning with the doja brand identity.
Work closely with the product development and marketing teams to understand the product features, benefits, and target audience.
Create original and innovative packaging concepts that enhance the product’s perceived value and ensure a positive unboxing experience.
Produce high-quality visual mock-ups and prototypes.
Balance aesthetic design with technical requirements and cost-effectiveness.
Keep up-to-date with the latest design trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements related to product packaging.
Provide packaging specifications to our manufacturing partners and work closely with them to ensure design accuracy in production.
Participate in concept meetings, design reviews, and other collaborative team sessions.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Design, Industrial Design, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in packaging design
Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite.
Exceptional creativity and innovation with a strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication, time management, and teamwork skills.
Understanding of print production processes and techniques.
Ability to present and defend design proposals with professionalism and persuasiveness.
Knowledge of environmental and sustainability considerations in packaging design is a plus.
