We are a digital marketing agency in Canada seeking a skilled and motivated Ad Specialist to join our remote team. As a Paid Ads Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing PPC campaigns for our diverse client portfolio, with a focus on local conversions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, launch and monitor PPC campaigns across all digital channels (Including but not limited to Google Search & Display, Microsoft, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Amazon)
Develop, implement, launch and monitor Google Local Ads campaigns
Continuous optimization of existing campaigns to achieve performance goals and maximize ROI.
Conduct keyword research and analysis to provide keyword recommendations, audience targets, and measurement criteria.
Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns.
Set up Google Tag Manager and Call Tracking software with Google Analytics to measure goal conversions.
A demonstrated ability to improve conversion optimization.
Strategically collaborate with other team members across content, web, and especially SEO
Staying up to date on all industry trends and implementing them across our PPC programs
Analyze PPC data to consistently bring fresh ideas to the team on how the client can grow their PPC strategy even further.
Ensure clients always stay within budget for all PPC campaigns and make accurate budget recommendations based on clients’ goals.
Generating comprehensive reports on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, content, and analytics to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing efforts.

Skills & Requirements:
Strong understanding of PPC principles, keyword research, bidding strategies, and ad copy creation/testing.
Google ads specializing in local services, for example: Plumbing companies
Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills
Must be motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
5+ years experience in a digital media agency or digital marketing role.
4+ years of implementing and leading Google AdWords campaigns and strategies.
Experience with Google Tag Manager or other tag management platforms.
Proven success in managing multiple digital campaigns with a strong knowledge of SEM, Display, Mobile, and Social
Creative thinking skills and aptitude for new knowledge and best practices
Impeccable in written and spoken English Strong experience with ad copy development.
Strong working knowledge of Google Docs
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Data analysis and problem-solving mindset
Demonstrated ability to work remotely using platforms in Google, Microsoft and Zoom
Google Analytics, Adwords and SEM Rush certifications
Strong knowledge of all social media platforms (ie. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
Must be able to successfully manage and complete multiple tasks within tight time constraints and budgets.
Must be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of PPC, and Digital Marketing in general
License/Certification:
Google Ads, Search, Display, Video (Required)
Experience in the following is not required but would be a great asset:
Project Management Software
Working knowledge of mobile strategy and responsive web development and how it relates to SEO
Working knowledge of online email marketing best practices
