Job Description

Company Overview

At Monay & Associates, we are a dynamic and compassionate team of legal professionals dedicated to empowering consumers in the face of challenging financial situations. Our mission is to bridge the gap between the underprivileged and under-informed and the legal justice system, advocating for the rights of consumers across the nation. With a strong commitment to fairness, justice, and financial literacy, we strive to level the playing field against banks, debt collectors, and consumer reporting agencies. We are a group of non-licesed attorneys known as consumer advocates. We are not a member of the BAR nor do we practice law or provide legal advice.

What We Do:
Our core focus is on providing comprehensive legal support and representation to consumers facing complex issues related to financial disputes and credit reporting inaccuracies. We offer tailored solutions to individuals dealing with creditor lawsuits, unfair debt collection practices, and credit report inaccuracies. Our experienced legal team guides clients through the legal process, protecting their rights and interests every step of the way.

Areas of Practice: Consumer Law
Consumer Law lies at the heart of our practice, empowering consumers who find themselves entangled in financial disputes or facing unfair practices. Our legal services encompass three primary areas:

Defense against Lawsuits: We staunchly defend consumers facing lawsuits from banks and debt collectors. Our team assesses the merits of each case, formulates solid defense strategies, and fights to protect our clients’ rights and financial well-being.

Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) Claims: We assist clients in holding consumer reporting agencies accountable for inaccuracies in credit reports that can significantly impact their financial standing. Our team meticulously investigates credit report discrepancies and advocates for fair and accurate reporting.

Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) Claims: We stand beside consumers facing harassment and deceptive practices from debt collectors. Our legal experts pursue FDCPA claims against abusive debt collection practices, helping clients secure the justice they deserve.

Identity Theft Resolution: We guide clients through the process of recovering from identity theft, assisting in remedying the consequences and safeguarding their financial future.

Unlawful Repossessions: For clients facing wrongful vehicle repossession, we take assertive legal action to challenge these unlawful practices and protect their rights.

Alternative Dispute Resolution Services: Our team represents clients in private arbitration, offering an efficient and effective means of resolving disputes while avoiding prolonged litigation.

Your Role Within The Company
