Paraplanner

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Paraplanner to join our team. As a Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Wealth Coaches in providing exceptional service to our clients. Your main responsibility will be to assist the Wealth Coaches in preparing Statements of Advice (SOAs), conducting research, and developing suitable asset allocation models to ensure our clients receive informed and sound financial advice.

Responsibilities:

* Review and discuss information provided by the Wealth Coach and clients to gain a comprehensive understanding of their needs and goals.
* Prepare Statements of Advice (SOAs) and submit them to the Wealth Coach for review.
* Conduct research and develop financial models to support client strategies and asset allocation recommendations.
* Manage workflows efficiently to ensure timely delivery of strategic advice to the Wealth Coach.
* Respond to client requests promptly and provide necessary assistance.
* Support the Wealth Coach with presentations, client paperwork, lodgements, and compliance requirements.
* Contribute to the upkeep of financial planning software, staying updated with changes and enhancements, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
* Provide coaching and mentoring support to other team members as appropriate.
* Enhance professional knowledge and expertise by attending relevant courses to improve product, technical, and compliance knowledge.

Requirements:

* Tertiary qualification in financial planning or a similar field.
* Solid technical knowledge of current legislative and industry standards.
* Extensive experience in Xplan, Google Suite, SAMI, and Optimo Pathfinder
* Ability to work independently, effectively plan and organise workloads to meet deadlines.
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing financial documents and reports.
