Job Description

We are Sports Cards Norge () and Sports Cards Europe (), specialised in bringing new and old sports cards into collectors’ hands at reasonable prices. Operating in both Norway and Europe, we offer a unique advantage to our customers. For Norwegian customers, we eliminate the extra tolls and fees associated with buying abroad. For European customers, we offer a new platform built on the success of our Norwegian business.

Position Overview:
We are not looking for a Virtual Assistant to fill a job; this position is a stepping stone to joining a company with huge potential for many years to come. You will start at 5-10 hours per week. There are possibilities for more hours and raises based on work performance.

This posting is an audition. We will be selecting 3-5 candidates to hire for a test project. After seeing your work, we’ll choose who to bring on to the team. Strong English grammar and excellent communication skills are a requirement, along with some experience in automation and data reporting. We will also provide training for further growth.

Responsibilities:
– Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate data fetching from Shopify API.
– Manipulate and analyze data.
– Create and update inventory and order reports.
– Compare inventory levels between stores and identify transfer opportunities.
– Ensure data accuracy and validate report contents.
– Implement and manage task automation.
– Communicate findings and provide recommendations based on data analysis.

Skills and Qualifications:
– Proficiency in Python and experience with pandas library.
– Familiarity with Shopify API or similar e-commerce platforms.
– Strong knowledge of SQL for data manipulation and querying.
– Experience with Excel/Google Sheets for data reporting (or other).
– Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
– Experience with logistics and inventory management (preferred).
– Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
– Good communication and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.

Work Environment:
– We use Trello for collaboration and Google Docs for daily updates.
– You will be working closely with the founder and potentially with other team members.

Compensation:
– Starting pay: $4-5 per hour, with potential increases based on performance.
– Benefits after 3 months: Social Security System (SSS), Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), SingLife.
