Part-time Beginner Canva Short Form Video Editor

*ABOUT THIS POSITION*
We are a clothing brand looking for one canva video editor to make 4 youtube shorts a day (weekends included) for our rapidly growing youtube channel that makes videos centered around productivity tips for computer programming. (Similar to Andrew Huberman’s content, but centered around computer programming)

With its flexible hours, this job is perfect for anyone looking to make some side income and build experience as a video editor. As long as the task is done at the end of the day, you will be paid.

Knowledge in computer programming is not necessary, since you won’t be making the script. Only the visuals of the video.

With each youtube short being only around 10 to 20 seconds, making 4 youtube shorts only takes roughly 2 hours a day. You will also work on the weekends, so that amounts to 14 hours per week.

This job is perfect for anyone looking for a part time job to make some extra side income, a busy student looking to make some money without the usual inflexibility of employment, or a beginner video editor looking to build some experience.

*REQUIREMENTS*

We only have 3 requirements:
1. You have used canva at least once before in your life
2. You won’t miss a single day (consistency is non-negotiable)
3. You ensure the videos meet quality standards

Ideally you should be interested in technology and “productivity hacks/tips”, but it’s not a requirement. But you should mention it if you do have such interests.

Remember to add an image of a green banana at the bottom of your email, or your application will be rejected.

*POTENTIAL PROMOTIONS*

You can eventually be promoted to script writer, where you actually write the scripts of the videos themselves.

If you don’t want the training associated with a script writer, you can also eventually be promoted to long form video editor. Where you will make longer form videos that take slightly greater skill, but without necessitating extensive training.

Other positions as the business grows will potentially be open to you as well.

*WHAT A DAY ON THE JOB LOOKS LIKE*

We’ll send you 4 mp3 files containing the AI text to speech voices that you will turn into videos. All you have to do is add GIFs that entertain the viewer, educate the viewer, and/or stimulate the viewer.

Then you’ll add captions to the video using capcut, and you will send us both the finalized videos along with a collaboration link for each video so we may edit it in case you did anything wrong, and your work for the day is over.

That’s it.

*PAY*

You will be paid $100/month, with 25$ paid weekly. (4 weeks in a month, so that amounts to $100 a month)

*BONUSES*

1. You can work at any time of day. As long as the task is done by the end of the day, you will be paid.
2. If you want to take days off, you can request for additional youtube short scripts to be made in advance, so you may produce more videos that day and take days off accordingly (12 youtube shorts for example would give you 2 days off)
