Beat Hospitality is actively redefining the hospitality industry, managing a broad portfolio that includes hotels and short-term rentals. Our mission is to enhance property value and guest experiences through innovative management and strategic expansion. We seek versatile team members who can contribute broadly, beyond specific projects, and demonstrate strong general project management skills.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a part-time Construction Project Manager to oversee crucial construction projects within our hotel portfolio, with potential for a long-term role that extends beyond construction to general project management. This role is key to driving project success and meeting completion timelines, providing an opportunity for the right candidate to grow within our company.

Hotel Conversion Project: This project involves transforming a franchise hotel into an independent property. The scope includes remodeling of 76 rooms, updating common areas, and revamping the building’s exterior. Our immediate goal is to have half of the rooms remodeled by mid-July.
Motel Launch Project: Manage the setup of a new 13-room motel, which entails installing essential bathroom fixtures and fully furnishing the motel for operation. The project is targeted to complete within two months.

Future Projects:
Short-term Rentals: We frequently undertake projects to convert large residential homes into premium short-term rentals. These projects involve similar scopes of construction and remodeling work. The ideal candidate will also manage these and other varied projects, showcasing strong general project management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Monitor ongoing projects, ensuring they stay within budget and on schedule.
Produce regular reports on project progress, highlighting any deviations.
Collaborate in budget creation and fill planning gaps for both current and future projects, applying robust general project management skills.
Facilitate communications with contractors for bid collection, change orders, and schedule adherence.

Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in construction management, especially related to hotels and residential properties.
Excellent organizational skills to manage several project bids simultaneously.
Strong communication skills, capable of proactive interactions with contractors and stakeholders.
Proficiency with project management tools such as Jobtread, and familiarity with Slack and Notion for communication and organization.
Strong general project management skills, with the ability to contribute to various projects beyond construction.

Employment Details:
Part-time role for approximately four months, with potential for ongoing work based on performance.
Must be available during Central Working Time hours, with flexibility regarding exact daily hours.
Opportunity for a long-term role within Beat Hospitality, depending on the successful demonstration of general project management abilities.
