Job Description

Hello, my name is Ahmed Shuaibi. I am a certified educational consultant based in the United States, with a specialty in helping students navigate their academic and career paths. My business focuses on providing tailored advice and resources to students, educators, and schools, combining my passion for education with a data-driven, research-based approach. In addition to my consulting work, I am also an avid researcher and business developer, always on the lookout for new opportunities and strategies to improve and grow my business.

I am currently in search of a part-time Executive Assistant to join my team. This individual would play an integral role in supporting various aspects of my business, as well as assisting in my personal tasks, learning goals, and research activities. This role requires a diverse skill set, covering areas from market research and data analysis to content creation and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct new venture research, including competitor and customer analysis, demographic studies, user persona development, SEO keyword research, and product feasibility studies.
2. Assist in administrative tasks, such as data entry, document organization, presentation preparation, and standard operating procedure development.
3. Aid in educational consulting, including updating client databases, organizing paperwork, preparing reports, staying informed about educational trends, and developing educational resources.
4. Support communication and scheduling efforts, including responding to emails and setting appointments.
5. Assist in my personal learning goals by compiling relevant resources, developing learning timelines, and organizing projects.
6. Aid in my research activities, including data organization, visualizations, and presentation creation.
7. Handle personal tasks such as list making and data organization.

Requirements

1. Holds a bachelor’s degree.
2. Has a minimum of 2 years of experience as a virtual assistant.
3. Possesses solid knowledge of tools and resources for presentation creation, content creation, and market research.
4. Has excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
5. Shows proficiency in data entry and spreadsheet management.
6. Has an ability to adapt and learn new software and platforms quickly.
7. Experience in math and computer science is a strong plus, as much of the resources created are geared towards students in STEM fields.

While it is not a requirement, it is a significant plus if a candidate has experience with graphic design technology and basic website development, preferably with platforms like Figma, WordPress, or Webflow. This additional skill set will allow for more seamless integration into our various projects and can help to broaden the impact of your role within our organization.
