Job Overview:
As a Part Time Finance and Accounting Assistant, your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of bookkeeping, accounting, financial analysis, and tax estimation for our US clients. You will work closely with the finance team to ensure the accurate recording and organization of all financial transactions, maintaining compliance with regulations. Additionally, you will assist in providing comprehensive accounting services, offering insights into the company’s financial health and performance. Conducting monthly analysis will be a key part of your role, allowing you to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, thus enabling informed decision-making by the management team. Moreover, you will collaborate on tax estimation efforts, ensuring compliance while minimizing tax liabilities. This position offers the opportunity to work part-time initially, with the potential for increased hours as the role expands with the company’s growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Support the finance team in conducting financial analysis and forecasting.
Process invoices, expenses, and payments accurately and efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and reconcile accounts.
Assist with budgeting and variance analysis.
Help with tax estimation.
Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and support decision-making.
Participate in the implementation and improvement of financial processes and procedures.
Assist in ad hoc financial projects and tasks as needed.
Stay updated on accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance.

Compensation:
The role has a flexible schedule and is a work from home position. The pay range we’re offering is between $10 to $16 per hour depending on experience.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
CPA
A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably including experience in a Big 4 firm or similar advisory capacity. Demonstrated experience in bookkeeping, financial analysis, and tax estimation is essential.
The preferred candidate should be available to participate in meetings scheduled in the US Pacific Time zone.
Excellent experience with QuickBooks
