Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and versatile General Virtual Assistant with a strong background in both accounting and social media management. As a Virtual Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our team and ensuring the smooth operation of various administrative tasks, primarily focused on accounting and social media activities. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own location.
Responsibilities:
– Handle general accounting tasks such as bookkeeping, data entry, and invoice management
– Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
– Conduct social media management tasks, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement
– Monitor social media platforms for trends, comments, and messages, and respond appropriately
– Develop social media strategies and campaigns
– Assist in creating visually appealing graphics and videos for social media platforms
– Provide general administrative support, including email management, calendar coordination, and documentation
Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant for at least a year, with a focus on accounting and social media management
– Strong understanding of US accounting principles and proficiency in accounting software; specifically Quickbooks
– Familiarity with social media platforms and tools for content creation and scheduling
– Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively
– Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in financial records
– Proficient in using productivity tools such as Microsoft Office or Google Suite
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
– Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines
– Willing to learn new things.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Prior experience in Managed Serviced Provider “MSP”, or IT
– Strong understanding of IT and surrounding technologies.
– Strong understanding of US accounting principles and proficiency in accounting software; specifically Quickbooks
– Knowledge of social media management
