Part-Time Graphic Designer

Nautical Staffing is looking for a Part-Time Graphic Designer to support our client in the US in helping out the internal creatives team and clients in building their branding.

Responsibilities:
– Design collateral pieces: Promotional items, Apparel, Stationery items,
– Printed paper Collateral items (Memo pads, letterheads, notecards, postcard ect.) Social media content creation and/or ad hoc collaterals for branding.
-Work with Clients and with creatives team to receive projects and complete on time, communicating project updates and needs.
– Proofread content and occasionally write copy
– Review proofs prior to sending to Client for edits/project approval.
– Assist with other design or print needs as assigned.
– Create logos and brand identities and translate into branded assets as needed
– Will be incharge of creating branding guidelines or to improve existing Branding guidelines for clients.
– Creating relationships with current and potential clients to promote business expertise in promoting creative solutions.
– Fast pace business with lots of rushes, proof setup and print files need to be set up within few hours to keep projects moving and orders flowing.
– Reviewing Vendor proofs before production to make sure vendor proof and Client proofs align.

Qualifications:
– Minimum 2 years of experience in Graphic Design is required
– Must have extensive experience in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. (Knowledge of additional softwares is a plus)
– Must have experience in using Dropbox, We Transfer or any similar software.
– Experience working with a start-up company is a plus.
– Must have their own Equipment capable of rendering collaterals.
– Experience working with A.I. Tools is a plus
– Must have excellent written and verbal skills and be comfortable connecting to creatives team and vendors.
– Willing to work 20-25 hours/week between 9am to 5pm US Pacific business hours. (Preferably 10:00am-2:00pm PST.)
