The Part-Time Human Resources and Recruitment Assistant position plays a crucial role in supporting the HR department’s functions and ensuring the smooth execution of HR initiatives.

This role requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. You will contribute to the overall efficiency of the HR team by assisting with various tasks and projects, demonstrating a solid understanding of HR processes and procedures. In this role, you will support operations by delivering essential administrative assistance, helping to streamline processes and maintain organisational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

» Effective Communication:
• Facilitate proactive communication channels between team members and management.
• Clearly articulate expectations and requirements to ensure tasks are executed efficiently and accurately.

» Document Creation and Formatting:
• Utilise advanced skills in Word, PowerPoint, and Canva to create visually appealing and informative documents.
• Pay meticulous attention to detail when formatting documents to ensure consistency and professionalism.

» Contextual Understanding and Task Gathering:
• Demonstrate an intuitive understanding of the context surrounding various tasks and projects.
• Efficiently gather necessary information to facilitate smooth task execution and decision-making processes.

» Process-Oriented Approach:
• Embrace a systematic approach to task management, leveraging established processes to drive success.
• Maintain flexibility within process frameworks to adapt to evolving needs and priorities.

» Efficiency and Effectiveness:
• Continuously seek out innovative and efficient methods to accomplish tasks and achieve objectives.
• Conduct thorough research to collect appropriate information and present findings in a clear and concise manner.

» HR Expertise:
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of the HR lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
• Leverage recruitment experience and a discerning eye for detail to support HR tasks such as candidate sourcing and database management.

» Database Management and Research:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR databases by diligently updating information and conducting regular audits.
• Employ strong research skills to gather relevant data and synthesise it into actionable insights for HR initiatives.

About You:

• Previous experience in HR/Recruitment or a related field is highly desirable but not essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint) and graphic design tools like Canva.
• Exceptional organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Enjoys checking items off their list and taking immediate action on tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and effectiveness.
• Proven adaptability and flexibility in response to shifting priorities and deadlines.
• A proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a commitment to achieving desired outcomes.

This position offers part-time hours with flexibility in scheduling. Candidates should be able to commit to a designated schedule and be open to occasional adjustments based on business needs.
