Part-Time Laravel Developer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Full-Stack Laravel Developer to join our growing team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in Laravel and front-end technologies, with a reputation for creating and maintaining web applications of the highest quality. You should be passionate about delivering pixel-perfect UI/UX and be comfortable handling both client and server-side coding.

In this role, you’ll also be required to communicate effectively in English. We use Skype chat for daily team communication, so you’ll need to be comfortable with this mode of interaction and can provide clear daily, weekly, and monthly goals.

This position is not for a short-term or project-based role. You will be working on a series of large projects with us in both solo-development and team roles. This is a part-time position requiring at least 20 hours a week. Please only submit your application if you are available 20 hours a week.

Key Responsibilities

– Design and maintain complex web applications using Laravel and front-end technologies.
– Work closely with our team to translate user and business needs into functional frontend design.
– Consistently create well-designed, tested, and efficient code.
– Coordinate with co-developers and keeps project manager well informed of the status of development effort.
– Ensure cross-browser compatibility for all designs.
– Demonstrate a deep understanding of business logic, and actively suggest improvements to features or processes.
– Take initiative to identify, prioritize, and execute tasks to meet project deadlines.
– Contribute to team effort by accomplishing project tasks on schedule and by interacting and mentoring junior developers.
– Write clean, easy to read and well documented code

Required Skills and Experience

– At least 7 years of experience in full-stack development.
– Expertise in PHP, Laravel, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX.
– Proficiency in SQL schema design, SOLID principles, REST API design.
– Experience with software testing (PHPUnit, PHPSpec, Behat).
– Experience with front-end technologies like Click to view, React or Angular.
– Excellent written and spoken English skills, for daily communication with our international team.
– Comfortable working with tools like Skype for daily interaction and goal setting.

Compensation and Payment Terms

– The salary for this position is $640 per month.
– For the first month, payment will be made on a weekly basis, at $160 per week.
– From the second month onwards, payment will be made bi-weekly, amounting to $320 every two weeks.
– We offer flexibility in payment methods; you can choose to receive your salary through PayPal, Payoneer or Wise. Please specify your preference upon accepting the job offer.
