Virtual Rockstar is seeking a part-time Medical Virtual Assistant for our client’s Physical Therapy practice in Georgia, USA.
Responsibilities:
Conduct insurance verifications and handle prior authorizations to ensure seamless patient care.
Run reports in Prompt EMR and format data for comprehensive analysis and reporting.
Update patient files with accurate insurance information and maintain thorough records.
Communicate with insurance providers to clarify coverage details and resolve billing inquiries.
Generate billing reports for management to facilitate financial tracking and decision-making.
Support time management and document handling for efficient clinic operations.
Provide marketing support, including content creation and updating clinic website using WordPress.
Requirements:
Experience in medical administration, particularly in insurance verifications and prior authorizations.
Proficiency in using Prompt EMR and formatting data for analysis.
Familiarity with WordPress for website management and updating.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Google Workspace is a plus.
