Position Overview:
As a Part-Time Nonprofit Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial records and transactions related to our annual membership dues and donations using QuickBooks. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will ensure that our organization maintains financial transparency while accommodating a part-time schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the annual billing process for our membership dues, including accurate and timely invoicing.
Utilize QuickBooks to record financial transactions related to membership dues, donations, and other revenue sources.
Reconcile financial records, identify discrepancies, and take corrective actions as necessary.
Respond to member inquiries related to billing, ensuring excellent customer service.
Collaborate with the finance team to prepare financial reports and statements for internal and external stakeholders.
Assist in budget planning and forecasting related to membership dues revenue.
Stay up-to-date with nonprofit accounting standards and regulations.
Qualifications:

Prior experience working with a nonprofit organization and managing annual membership dues.
Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with members and team members.
Knowledge of nonprofit accounting principles and practices (preferred).
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
