Stanton Group LLC is the parent company of Stanton Real Estate Partners LLC (SREP). Stanton is in the business of acquiring, renovating/re-developing/developing and operating residential and commercial real estate. SREP currently owns 18 buildings comprising approximately 160 apartment units and with 28 buildings and 210 units under contract and closing in early 2024. SREP is also currently developing a 250-unit single family rental community. SREP manages property and construction operations via a subsidiary called Stanton Management LLC (SM).
Role Overview
The architect will initially help develop unit layouts and floor plans for our Office-to-Apartment conversion projects. We are currently working three potential projects and need to develop floor plans to determine how many units and the unit mix for the projects. The initial scope of work is meant to assist and augment the financial analysis of these projects. After we determine the layouts you will proceed with Design Development in partnership with our third-party US based architects .
We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of relevant experience but closer to the beginning of their career that can grow professionally.
Qualifications:
– At least 3 years of relevant experience
– Must have formal education or training in Architecture
– Experience with Architecture and Design software
– Exceptional communication skills including the ability to communicate with all levels of staff and management and related third parties
– Team-oriented and able to share information, goals, opportunities, successes, and failure with appropriate parties
Nice to Have:
– Licensed Architect
– Knowledge of US and International Building Codes
– Experience in real estate, property management and construction industry
– Knowledge of building systems – plumbing, electrical, HVAC, fire alarm, sprinklers (fire suppression), access control etc.
Specific Tasks:
– Apartment unit layout and development
– Floor plan development and optimization
– Apartment unit detail development – wall sections, doors, windows, elevations etc.
– Apartment building common area and egress layout and detail development
Salary / Pay Rate:
– The salary/pay rate will be determined in relation to the result of the candidate’s skills assessment.
Working Location & Hours:
– Work from home
– Monday to Friday
– Exact hours to be determined – at least a few hours of working time must overlap with US EST (New York City time)
