Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to meet company objectives.
– Source and evaluate suppliers/vendors, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term relationships to ensure high-quality goods and services at competitive prices.
– Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide guidance and support throughout the procurement process.
– Oversee the purchase order process, including reviewing requisitions, obtaining necessary approvals, and managing delivery schedules.
– Conduct market research and stay up-to-date with industry trends to identify potential cost savings and process improvements.
– Monitor supplier performance, resolve any issues or disputes, and manage vendor relationships effectively.
– Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
– Provide regular reports and analysis on procurement activities, including budget utilization and cost savings.
Requirements:
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing and procurement, preferably in the IT industry.
– Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.
– Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
– Proficient in using procurement software and tools.
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
