Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and driven Part-Time SEO Content Writer & Editor to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role will be to create high-quality written content optimized for search engines, with a focus on topics related to home services, health, or cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEO principles and experience using tools such as Ahrefs and SurferSEO.

Responsibilities:

1. Content Creation: Produce engaging and informative written content tailored for online audiences, incorporating relevant keywords and SEO best practices.
2. SEO Optimization: Conduct keyword research and implement on-page SEO strategies to improve content visibility and ranking on search engine results pages (SERPs).
3. Editing AI Content: Collaborate with AI-generated content to ensure accuracy, coherence, and alignment with SEO guidelines.
4. Topic Research: Stay updated on industry trends and developments within the home services, health, or cybersecurity sectors to generate fresh and relevant content ideas.
5. Quality Assurance: Review and edit content for grammar, style, and factual accuracy to maintain high standards of quality and professionalism.
6. Performance Tracking: Monitor content performance metrics using SEO tools and analytics platforms to identify areas for improvement and optimize content strategies accordingly.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and SEO specialists, to align content efforts with broader business objectives.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience in content writing, preferably with a focus on SEO and familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs and SurferSEO.
2. Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and proficiency in grammar and punctuation.
3. Strong understanding of SEO principles and techniques, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building.
4. Experience in the home services, health, or cybersecurity industries is a plus.
5. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while adhering to deadlines.
6. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams in a remote work environment.
