Role Description
Fresh Coat Digital Marketing is seeking a remote part-time Freelance SEO Content Writer to join our team. The role involves creating high-quality and engaging content that is optimized for search engines. The Freelance SEO Content Writer will work closely with the SEO team to identify keywords and topics that will improve organic search rankings, as well as develop and implement content strategies that align with business goals and target audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strong writing skills with demonstrable experience in SEO content creation for multiple platforms
* Experience with SEO tools such as SEMRush, Google Search Console, and Ahrefs
* Knowledge of WordPress, SEO plugins and how to create pages in WordPress
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to articulate ideas succinctly and clearly to team members and clients
* Ability to meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision on multiple projects simultaneously
* Experience with product and category descriptions, blog posts, website content, and meta descriptions
* Ability to research and write on a variety of topics, including industry-specific and technical subjects
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as an SEO professional, with a focus on project management
* Strong understanding of SEO best practices and industry trends
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
* Experience with SEO tools, such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Ahrefs
* Experience with project management tools, such as Asana, Trello, or Click to view is a plus
This SEO Content Writer position is a part-time position with flexible working hours.
Within 1 month you will:
* Complete our onboarding program designed to get you up to speed on our business, vision, and team and gain an understanding of how your role fits into Fresh Coat Digital Marketing broader organization.
* Deliver content ready for publishing in collaboration the SEO team
Within 2 months you will:
* Become completely independent
* Work on exciting projects where you can polish your skills
* Continue to improve and track your progress in content writing and SEO
Within 6 months you will:
* Progress to a Senior SEO Content Writer
* Mentor, assist, and train new writers and SEOs
* Create enablement documentation for the team
