Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced SEO specialist to join our small Web Design and Marketing Agency to help us improve the rankings and increase website traffic for our clients using modern and sustainable white hat SEO Techniques. You should be an SEO geek, be up to date with the latest updates, know how to fix issues impacting SEO performance and help build a strategy per client that will get better results.

The role is currently part-time, only 40 hours per month, but if things go well, we will increase time, leading to a full-time role.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day role

Perform ongoing keyword research, discovery and optimization for new relevant keywords to use across the websites.
Create and execute high-volume link-building strategies.
Conduct regular technical audits to identify and resolve website issues that may affect rankings.
Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms and provide regular reports on traffic, rankings, conversions, etc.
Ability to set up conversion tracking in Google Analytics
Use SEO Tools to assess the performance of our SEO Clients’ websites and to determine areas that require improvements to enhance the overall website performance and user experience.
Conduct on-page and off-page optimization to improve website visibility, including meta tags, headings, URL structure, and internal linking.
Implement strategies to improve websites’ visibility in local search results for specific regions or markets.
Identify technical SEO issues and work closely with the team to implement solutions, including website speed optimization, page indexing, and crawlability improvements.

Skills required
Good English, spoken and written
Good communication skills, written and verbal
Good attention and eye for detail and works to a high standard.
Good with web-based software, email (Gmail), and project management software. Google Drive, WordPress, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google My Business

The successful candidate will be an SEO expert who is a smart, driven individual with a can-do, forward-thinking approach.

Experience
You should have experience communicating with an account manager and other team members.
