Part-Time SEO Specialist (Technical and On-Page SEO)

Starting at 10-20 hours per week (with potential for increased hours and pay based on performance)

About Us:

We are a dynamic wedding photo and video company based in the United States, currently expanding our online presence. We’re looking for a self-motivated and detail-oriented SEO Specialist to help us improve our website’s visibility and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and manage all aspects of technical SEO, including site speed optimization, mobile responsiveness, SSL, site architecture, XML sitemap, fixing broken links, canonical tags, and schema markup.
Conduct thorough keyword research and manage keywords effectively.
Oversee the creation of 5 blog posts per week for each website, utilizing provided AI tools such as WPAutoBlog for content generation. Ensure content quality, relevance, SEO optimization, and coherence, making necessary adjustments and checks.
Optimize web pages, including meta tags, header tags, internal linking, and image alt tags.
Monitor and report on SEO performance using tools like Seodity, Squirlly SEO, and WPAutoBlog.
Manage and coordinate off-page SEO activities, overseeing outsourced tasks.
Regularly update and maintain website content for freshness and relevance.
Ensure a strong user experience on the website, focusing on navigational ease and engaging content.
Prepare and submit regular progress reports (video reports preferred, though Google Sheets are acceptable).

Requirements:

Proven experience in both technical and on-page SEO.
Familiarity with SEO tools such as Seodity, Squirlly SEO, and WPAutoBlog.
Strong understanding of content management, particularly with WordPress.
Excellent research and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Experience with remote work and time tracking (using Timeproof or similar).
Excellent communication skills and proficiency in report generation.
