The Part-Time Shopify Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining our Shopify store, ensuring it meets our business needs and provides a seamless experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of custom theme development, the Liquid template language, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
Additionally, experience with subscriptions, review apps, Klaviyo, and other popular Shopify apps is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

– Develop and implement custom Shopify themes from scratch, ensuring they are responsive and optimized for performance.
– Utilize the Liquid templating language to create and customize Shopify themes and functionalities.
– Apply best practices in conversion rate optimization (CRO) to enhance user experience and increase sales.
– Integrate and manage subscription services within Shopify.
– Implement and configure review apps to collect and display customer feedback.
– Work with Klaviyo to develop and execute email marketing campaigns.
– Integrate and manage other popular Shopify apps to enhance store functionality.
– Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to bring creative ideas to life.
– Provide ongoing maintenance and support for the Shopify store.
– Stay up-to-date with the latest e-commerce trends and technologies to ensure our store remains competitive.

Qualifications:

– 5+ years of experience developing on the Shopify platform.
– Strong understanding of custom theme development and the Liquid templating language.
– Proven experience in conversion rate optimization (CRO).
– Experience with Shopify subscription services.
– Proficiency in integrating and managing review apps.
– Experience with Klaviyo and other popular Shopify apps.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
– A portfolio showcasing previous Shopify development projects is a plus.

Working Hours:
– Part-time position working 4 hours per day.
– Flexible schedule within the hours of 8am-5pm PST.
