JLP is seeking a creative and proactive Social Media Manager with experience in video editing for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. The ideal candidate will have a knack for thinking outside the box and developing engaging content to nurture our follower base. This role involves daily interaction with followers, outreach to individuals in the construction, real estate, and investment sectors, and consistent content creation. Please note, the work hours are from 5 PM to 9 PM Pacific Time, so candidates must be available during these hours.

Key Responsibilities:

– Create, edit, and publish engaging video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
– Nurture and grow our follower base by interacting with followers and responding to comments and messages.
– Follow at least 50 relevant accounts daily within the construction, real estate, and investment sectors in Southern California.
– Send messages to individuals in these sectors to build connections and promote our services.
– Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and develop new content ideas.
– Monitor social media trends and adapt strategies to stay current.
– Report on social media performance and provide insights for improvement.

Required Qualifications:

– Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
– Strong video editing skills with a portfolio of work on Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
– Creative thinking and ability to generate unique content ideas.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
– Familiarity with the construction, real estate, and investment sectors in Southern California.
– Availability to work from 5 PM to 9 PM Pacific Time.

Preferred Qualifications:

– Experience with social media analytics tools.
– Knowledge of SEO and social media best practices.
