Job Description

My name is Abrar Al-Shaer, PhD, RD, LDN. I am a licensed registered dietitian nutritionist in the United States. I run a women’s health and wellness business & practice focused on promoting healthy living through nutrition and lifestyle changes (). I am a registered dietitian nutritionist and herbalist specializing in functional and integrative medicine for women’s health. I help women throughout all stages of their life cycles using a holistic approach that includes nutrition, herbal and botanical medicines, and a focus on the root causes of their health challenges.

Currently, I’m seeking a part-time Social Media Manager to augment my Instagram presence and aid me in expanding my online community. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to my mission of guiding and empowering women through their hormone health challenges.

Responsibilities:
• Create engaging, high-quality content on natural hormone health solutions for women.
• Develop and execute a social media strategy that reflects our brand’s mission.
• Engage with our Instagram community through Stories, Reels, and responses.
• Understand our target audience via market research to create effective engagement strategies.
• Turn ideas into structured, market-ready plans.
• Manage a content calendar for consistent content delivery.
• Adapt our business strategy to match industry trends.
• Edit videos and craft posts for an optimal social media presentation.
• Share engaging daily content such as research updates, photos, and videos.
• Respond promptly to follower queries, cultivating a positive social media community.
• Maintain social media accounts that mirror our brand and mission.
• Monitor SEO and web traffic for enhanced social media visibility.
• Introduce new features like webinars, live Q&As, and promotions to boost brand awareness and add value to our followers.
• Develop and adapt posts for optimal engagement across various social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

Requirements:
• Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or similar.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in managing social media accounts, preferably within the health or wellness industry.
• Hands-on experience in content management.
• Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics.
• In-depth understanding of various social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Excellent English writing and communication skills, with a talent for creating compelling content focused on women’s health.
• Proficient in design tools like Canva and video editing tools such as CapCut.
• Capable of multitasking and managing multiple projects autonomously.
• A passionate advocate for women’s health, nutrition, and holistic wellness approaches.

To ensure we find the best fit for this role, the selection process will be conducted in three stages:
1. Initial Selection: This will be based on the review of the applicant’s resume and responses to the job post.

2. Test Task: Shortlisted candidates will be given a task related to the job role to gauge their skillset and creativity.

3. Interview: The final stage will be a brief interview, providing an opportunity for us to get to know the candidates better, discuss the role in more detail, and answer any queries.
