Part Time Admin Virtual Assistant with “perfect” English wanted: Work for a growing UK-based team that supports charities and good causes. To start, the work would be available on an ad hoc basis with room to grow in a long term, part-time retainer position. Job Description:
We’re hiring a part-time VA for 3 key responsibilities:
1. Creating client dashboards on PowerBI
2. Design on Canva, including designing reports, templates, infographics and social media graphics
3. General VA tasks, including:
-Updating documents (Excel and Word) according to our brand guidelines
-Copytyping from written notes, Miro boards, flip charts, or in some cases from audio files
-Generating instruction documents from internal work flow processes
-Summarising documents and research through AI
-Creating and tidying up PowerPoint slides
-Updating WordPress website with images or selected quotes as testimonials
*Important* We are looking for someone who can ideally do all 3 responsibilites above. However, we are open to splitting the role provided that we can find someone who can demonstrate their exceptional experience and skills to one or a combination of the responsiblities above. We’re open to hearing from candidates who are interested in one of these responsibilities. REQUIREMENTS:
Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant or relevant role (3)
Demonstrable experience of PowerBI or other similar dashboards; excellent data visualisation skills; able to show examples (1)
Proficiency in Canva; able to create striking designs that are on brand and appropriate to the right audience; able to use Canva Template Designer; skilled in using Canva Docs and creating infographics from data in reports; able to support with examples (2)
Familiarity with project management tools like Asana (or similar) (1, 2, & 3)
Experience with word-processing software and spreadsheets (e.g. MS Word and Excel) (1,2, & 3)

ABOUT THE POSITION:
We collect a lot of data for our clients and need to have this information tell compelling stories and look visually engaging. To that end, the VA support we need is more about improving the look of our documentation to a professional, high standard including tidying up formatting and ensuring graphics are appropriately labelled and the branding is accurate. Outputs would include external client-facing work such as proposals and reports and PowerPoint slides as well as Power BI dashboards.
Ideally, the VA would have proficient Canva skills and they can create templates for this documentation and focus on incorporating design elements that are on brand including populating the data supplied into charts, graphs, tables and infographics.
Additionally, if the VA has Power BI skills, we would like this person to set up dashboards for our clients that are on brand and reflect the agreed data sets the client is tracking, with excellent data visualisation. We have an external partner who can provide training in this area to support you.
On a week-to-week basis, the VA role could vary. They may be asked to turnaround documentation following a workshop for one client and then take over to design a draft report to the client’s branding. This is not a standard data entry role. They will be a key contributor and finisher to the business. When there is more down time, there are internal comms, social media and website work to update.
Hours: Varied, depending on your specialism and responsibilities. We estimate that the role would be up to 10 hours per week if you apply for all three responsibilities, but we are flexible.

We pay up to £10.42 per hour
