I’m seeking a detail-oriented and organized Virtual Assistant to support us in creating an online workshop on budgeting and debt payoff for college students. As the Virtual Assistant, you will play a crucial role in coordinating various aspects of the course creation process, ensuring smooth operations, and assisting with administrative tasks. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a valuable educational resource and help college students achieve financial success.
My background is that I’m a Filipina business owner based in Texas, USA. I own multiple businesses and my education is in Accounting and Finance. I own an accounting firm and also sell digital products around financial literacy, such as budgeting templates. One of my passions is helping people be financially free through financial education.
I will be leading the project and giving direction, instructions, and train you on what you need to know. I need your help in executing the writing and design of the content.
High-Level Duties:
– Writing in English
– Designing graphics in Canva, Google Docs
– Email management/coordination
– Project management
– Research and admin tasks
Specific Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with me to develop the course content and structure
– Help develop supplemental materials, including an ebook and physical workbook, to complement the workshop content
– Design interactive and visually appealing slides to enhance the learning experience
– Help with emails and coordinating with customers/vendors/students
– Provide admin support, including research tasks, managing schedules, and organizing files
– Eventually, once the course/workshop launches, I’ll need your help with managing that. Such as managing my emails with customers and students, along with other admin tasks
Requirements:
– Previous experience as a Virtual Assistant or in a similar administrative role is preferred.
– Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
– Excellent English written and verbal communication skills. You will be writing often in English, so excellent grammar is something I look for
– Proficiency in using productivity tools such as project management software, document collaboration tools, and communication platforms.
– Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
– Familiarity with budgeting, debt payoff, or financial literacy concepts is a plus.
– Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
– Experience with digital product creation and online course platforms is a bonus.
– Preferred: experience and proficiency with Canva, Asana, and Google Suite products like Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides
Work environment:
– Very flexible. You can work any hours you want – I’ll likely want to meet once or twice a week based on USA time – I’m based in Texas (Central Time Zone), and will likely want to meet around 9am CT.
– Hours: 20 hours a week, can grow if it gets busy, but expect 20 hours a week.
