Part-Time Virtual Bookkeeper (Tiller & Wave Accounting Expertise Required)

Company Overview:

We are a dynamic and growing Law Firm seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Virtual Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing financial records, reconciling accounts, and preparing documents for CPA filing. Familiarity with Tiller and Wave accounting apps is a must.

Job Responsibilities:

Financial Record Maintenance: Keep accurate records of financial transactions by using Tiller and Wave accounting apps.
Account Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile all accounts to ensure accuracy in reporting and facilitate easy filing with a CPA.
Document Preparation: Prepare all necessary financial documents and reports for CPA filing, ensuring compliance with US accounting standards and regulations.
Invoice Management: Issue invoices, monitor incoming payments, and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely receipt of payments.
Financial Health Monitoring: Continuously monitor the financial health of the company, identifying trends, and areas for improvement.
Recommendations: Provide well-thought-out recommendations relating to the company’s financial activities to optimize financial performance.
Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with team members and external partners, such as the CPA, to ensure all financial activities are conducted smoothly.

Requirements:
Experience: Proven experience as a bookkeeper, with specific experience in using Tiller and Wave accounting software.
Education: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred but not required.
Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Communication: Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
Confidentiality: Must be able to handle sensitive financial information with integrity and confidentiality.
