As the Partnership Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our network of city/country locals, influencer bloggers, vloggers, and facilitating the contribution of authentic content to our travel blog. You will be responsible for engaging with locals, coordinating content creation, and fostering collaborative partnerships to enrich our blog’s offerings and engage our audience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and engage city/country locals, influencer bloggers and vloggers who can provide unique insights, stories, and recommendations for our travel blog.
• Reach out to locals, influencer bloggers and vloggers via online platforms, social media channels, and networking events to invite them to contribute content.
• Coordinate the creation, submission, and publication of content contributed by locals, ensuring alignment with our brand voice, mission, and quality standards.
• Review and edit contributed content for accuracy, relevance, clarity, and adherence to style guidelines.
• Collaborate with our editorial and social media team to ensure consistency, coherence, and diversity across all published content.
• Submit vetted content to our editorial and social media team to have content posted to our website and promoted across social media channels, online forums, and relevant communities to increase visibility and engagement.
• Explore opportunities for partnerships and collaborations with local businesses, organizations, and tourism boards to enhance our content offerings and reach.
• Communicate feedback to contributors from Social Media Managers regarding audience feedback and engagement metrics to gauge the effectiveness and impact of contributed content.
Qualifications:
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging content and communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
• Proven experience in content creation, editing, and publishing, preferably in the travel or lifestyle industry.
• Excellent research skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify compelling stories and sources.
• Proficiency in using online platforms, social media channels, and content management systems (CMS) (or Excel spreadsheets) to facilitate outreach and content publication.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Cultural sensitivity, empathy, and respect for diverse perspectives and experiences.
• Passion for travel, cultural exploration, and community engagement, with a genuine curiosity about different cultures and destinations.
