Pattern Maker & Technical Fashion Designer

YOU ARE
– Must have 3-5 years of experience in a technical and pattern making role in fashion
– Thorough
– Accurate
– Detail oriented
– Organized
– Ok with occasional team meetings on video conference call
– Most important of all are your communication and listening skills
SKILLS
– Digital pattern making
– Advanced grading skills
– Expert at creating tech packs
– Brilliant at writing a thorough measurement spec
– Excellent understanding of garment construction and sewing
– Knowledge of QC and good workmanship in sewn garments
– Confident working in spreadsheets
– Comfortable working in inches, and in CM
– Ability to closely follow complex instructions
RESPONSIBILITIES
– Writing POM descriptions and measurement specs
– Measuring garments
– Creating and checking tech packs
– Digital pattern making
– Grading
– Matching colors and lab dips to PANTONE numbers
– Writing construction and sewing instructions
– Evaluating sewn samples against the tech pack and writing sample and fit comments
THE POSITION
– Permanent position at 30-40 hrs/week (based on your preference), Monday-Friday.
– Flexible hours, work whenever you want
– Salary $600-1000 USD p/m depending on experience
– 13th month bonus (up to 1 months pay)
– 20 paid vacation days, plus Philippine holidays. Plus sick leave days if needed.
– Starting with a paid 8-week trial so we can both see if we work well together.
