Payroll Specialist with HRIS Administration and Project Management Experience
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing, HRIS administration, and project management. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees while also managing various HRIS-related projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Payroll Processing:
– Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time using our payroll system
– Review and verify employee data to ensure accuracy
– Address any discrepancies or issues that may arise during the payroll process
– Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws related to payroll processing
2. HRIS Administration:
– Serve as the main point of contact for all HRIS related matters
– Manage data entry, maintenance, and integrity of employee information in the HRIS system
– Develop reports and analyze data from the HRIS system to identify any discrepancies or areas for improvement
– Collaborate with internal stakeholders to continuously improve the HRIS system’s functionality
3. Project Management:
– Participate in various HRIS related projects such as system upgrades or implementations
– Work closely with the project team to define project scope, objectives, timelines, and milestones
– Provide regular updates on project progress to key stakeholders
– Identify potential risks or issues that may impact the success of the project and develop mitigation strategies
Qualifications:
– Formal education in Human Resources, Accounting, Business or related field preferred
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing
– Prior experience with HRIS administration is required
– Project management experience is highly preferred
– Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local laws related to payroll processing
– Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
– Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal)
– Ability to work independently and in a team environment
– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
