We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Creative Strategist (Performance Creative Ads Expert + Post Production Video Editor) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong post-production video editing background, focusing on creating engaging and effective high-performance (ROAS) ads for social media platforms. As a creative strategist, you will be responsible for driving marketing campaigns forward for our brand by leveraging new creative ideas, content sources and media production strategies.

Responsibilities:

Conduct market research and stay up to date on the latest trends and best practices in social media advertising to inform ad concepts and strategies
Utilize software and tools such as Triple Whale’s Creative Cockpit, Motion App, and Foreplay to analyze and improve ad performance, conduct market research, and generate ad briefs for the creative team
Analyze competitor’s ad campaigns and use this information to inform our own creative strategy
Write ad briefs to outreach UGC, incorporating inspiration and data from market research, competitor analysis, and ad performance analysis
Identify, Outreach and Recruit UGC creators for new content
Use existing content, B-Roll content and new content to create new video variations, i,e one new UGC video can be turned into 20 pieces of creative for testing.
Manage multiple projects across various marketing initiatives and campaigns
Collaborate with the creative team to ensure all ads align with brand guidelines and messaging
Use analytical skills to monitor and analyze ad performance, and use data to make informed decisions about ad strategy and optimization
Stay up to date on the latest trends and best practices in social media advertising and apply this knowledge to improve ad performance
Use tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop to edit and refine videos

Qualifications & Skills:

3-5 years of experience in post-production video editing, with a focus on social media advertising
Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop
Strong understanding of social media advertising best practices and ability to analyze ad performance data
Strong attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines
Excellent communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Experience in market research, competitor analysis, ad performance analysis and project management
Bachelor’s degree in video production, film studies, or related field
Additional certifications in post-production video editing or social media advertising is a plus.

The successful candidate will have a strong portfolio that demonstrates their skills and experience in post-production video editing for social media ads and also have experience in market research, competitor analysis and ad performance analysis.

As a creative strategist, you will be able to use your analytical and creative skills to develop and implement effective marketing strategies that drive results for the brand. You will also be able to work closely with other members of the team and manage multiple projects, ensuring that they are executed on time and within budget.
