This is where you come in –
We need you to do the bookkeeping for our clients, so Marie, our owner, can focus on growing the business.
You will be responsible for end-to-end bookkeeping, interacting with clients, understanding basic tax codes, payroll. You will be working hand in hand with our accounting team, contribute to firm growth strategies, and pursue opportunities for professional advancement.

JOB OVERVIEW
We are looking for a tech-savvy self-starter with strong problem-solving and planning abilities, someone comfortable asking for help, and is eager to make a difference through effective time management.
You will work with a small and growing team of awesome accounting and bookkeeping pros in various roles, ensuring the quality of work is high and deadlines are met or exceeded. We’ll provide extensive training where you need it.
Main Responsibilities:
Manage end to end bookkeeping tasks
Transaction coding (income), account reconciliations, troubleshooting
Full cycle accounting
Create and file various accounting and payroll reports/remittances as needed
Financial reports
1099 filing
Payroll
Communicate with clients (email and Zoom)
We work with Quickbooks Online, Xero, and Gusto.

PAY
$900-$1200/month for this full-time role

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
– Honest
– Reliable
– Confidentiality
– Fluent in English (verbal and written skills)
– Fast, stable internet connection
– Able to troubleshoot your own problem
– Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or any related field
– Certified Bookkeeper
– End to end bookkeeping experience (at least 2 years)
– Comfortable with accounting/bookkeeping software – QBO, Xero, Gusto
– Excellent skills with Google Workspace – Drive, Sheets, Docs, etc.
Work Environment: Be able to work privately (you’re accessing confidential financial information) during work hours.
Preferred (Nice to Have):
– CPA
– Familiarity with project management software and tools – MeisterTask, HubDoc
– Familiarity with tax code
– 3rd Party App Integration (A2X)
WORKING HOURS
Pretty flexible. The only required time to work together is during the one-hour weekly team meeting.
