ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for a proactive, self-motivated Staff Accountant to prepare and review financial documents, reports, and statements. You will oversee all accounting procedures (e.g. tax returns, month-end closures, budgeting) and advise on general financial matters.
You will work with a small and growing team of awesome people. We’ll provide extensive training where you need it.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process information in QBO
Reconcile bank account; identify errors in balance sheet
Process tax return; clean up and convert trial balance
Add new assets into depreciation software
Calculate depreciation report
Record to journal entries
Other bookkeeping/ad hoc tasks
QUALIFICATIONS
Accounting knowledge and bookkeeping experience
CPA and US Tax experience is a PLUS but not required
Experience using QuickBooks and Xero (required)
Experience in project management is an advantage
Attentive to details
Strong organizational and time management skills
Communication skills
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Personal equipment and reliable, stable and high-speed internet
Work Environment: Be able to work privately (you’re accessing confidential financial information) during work hours.
