Job Description

I’m looking to hire an executive assistant as a full-time, on-call position to work me every working day, and help me run the business and manage my life.

Details:

$700 USD per month payment.

5 hours per day (flexible timing and available on call within reason – assist when required) = approx 35 hours per week

About the role:

Managing my personal + business email inbox – triaging, replying to relevant stuff, flagging up urgent things that need my input.

Scheduling calendar events – ad-hoc meetings, weekly and monthly team meetings, podcast appearances, blocking out time for recurring personal stuff (exercise, writing, coaching etc)

Travel – Booking business and personal travel, including flights, transport, logistics etc.

Personal stuff – food delivery, meal planning, dinner and other bookings, sending gifts to people etc

Helping me keep on top of iMessage / WhatsApp messages. Ideally each day you’d look through all my personal and work emails and messages, and figure out what we need to do about each of those.

Arranging dating life, messaging and talking to prospective dates based on SOP’s and examples.

Requirements

These are non-negotiable I’m afraid.

You’re able to speak and write fluent English. Your english should be good enough that you could live in any Western country and be confused for a local who has lived there for the past 20 years. Please do NOT apply unless your english is at this level of 100% fluency and local understanding.

You’ll be ghostwriting some of my emails and messages, and may even get involved with things like copyright, blog post editing etc so this again is the most important requirement.

You don’t mind working evenings and weekends if the occasion calls for it. There will often be times during the week where you will have time to relax, as I won’t have any tasks requiring assistance. The main idea is to be available immediately when called upon. But hopefully, we’d have our workflow sorted enough in advance that ‘urgent’ things shouldn’t really be happening at unexpected times.

You’re super organised and love organising and admin and logistics and all that stuff that I hate. Nothing slips through the
cracks.

You are well spoken, and know how to communicate in a way that is variable to the situation. For example, work emails will take on a very different tone to friends or prospective dates.

Nothing’s ‘beneath you’, and you’re happy to muck in and do what it takes to make stuff happen.

Frequent change doesn’t phase you, you’ll be able to adapt and overcome when presented with changing situations.
