Job Description

We are looking for an amazing person that is happy and excited to help us grow and make a huge impact in the countertop industry. We are hoping to find someone with a background (or passion) in interior design, architecture, or engineering, or experience with programs related to estimating interior finish materials.

The Personal Assistant and Project Estimator VA must be a self-starter, willing to learn new programs, and must have an eye for detail. We will train him/her with the process and programs we use for estimation and bidding. He/she will also be possibly reaching out to vendors and customers through calls, texts, and emails from time to time to follow-up or ask information on orders, shipping info and delivery dates.

Work Remotely?: YES

Work Hours and Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm MST/MDT

Work Duration: Full-time (around 40 hours per week) or Part-time (20 hours per week)

Rate: Php32,000/month – varies on exchange rate based on $4/hr, with possibility of raise for visible results and good performance

Qualifications:

– Understands the concept of construction processes like estimation, bidding, quotation, sales orders and purchase orders.

– Critical-thinker and problem-solver

– Able to read Architectural plans

– Adept in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, OneNote, Outlook and OneDrive)

– Past experience with construction or design estimation related jobs is a plus

– Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field

– Must have own PC/Laptop with secondary monitor

– Must be willing to use Hubstaff

– Fluent in both writing and speaking in English

Responsibilities:

– Determining quantities of needed materials though our estimation program (MeasureSquare) and inputting them in our quotation program (ServiceFusion)

– Ensure timely completion of estimates

– Calling and messaging with our suppliers and customers when needed (will provide US phone software and number)

– Data entry for inventory, job details, and other small projects as needed

– Daily video meetings with us (With the operations manager and office staff. Don’t worry, we’re nice and chill!)
