As a case manager, you won’t just manage tasks; you’ll shepherd complex personal injury cases from the uncertainty of their beginning to the resolution they deserve, providing reassurance and understanding at every step.

What you’ll do:

Operational Versatility:
Find medical providers and schedule/coordinate medical appointments, analyze medical records, and ensure clients are following treatment recommendations.
Handle a caseload of 50-75 files, managing the workflow and progression of client medical treatment independently.
Case Management Excellence:
Oversee the complete management of newly signed cases from inception to settlement.
Be the liaison with medical providers, insurance adjusters, and clients, managing expectations and ensuring the progression of each case aligns with our firm’s high standards.
Secretarial Legal Duties:
Calendaring, setting up and scheduling depositions
Drafting basic legal documents such as deposition notices and notices of ruling.
Paralegal Duties:
Drafting interrogatory responses and preparing document production

Client Interaction and Satisfaction:
Utilize your bilingual skills to communicate complex legal and medical concepts to clients, providing clarity and support throughout their case.
Maintain a proactive and positive attitude in every interaction, ensuring that clients’ needs are met with understanding and efficiency.
Strategic Case Analysis:
Assess how liability issues and insurance limits affect each case, applying your understanding to strategize for the best possible outcomes.
Professional Development and Growth:
Express a strong desire to grow within the firm, learning litigation tasks and expanding your role to encompass a broader scope of legal support functions (you will eventually be working on tasks outside of the defined scope in this job description as the needs of the firm change and you grow within your role)
Communication Mastery:
Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for interacting with a diverse clientele and team.

What we’re looking for:

3+ years proven track record as a pre-lit case manager in personal injury law, dealing with the medical side of cases, as well.
A strong command of both Spanish and English, with the ability to converse and write fluently in both languages – particularly with regard to legal and medical terminology.
A proactive, learning-oriented individual eager to take on additional roles including legal secretarial and paralegal tasks.
A person who thrives in a dynamic environment, bringing enthusiasm and dedication to every aspect of their work.
