Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Photo Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in editing both videos and photos, with experience in using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, especially for lifestyle, models, and headshots.
Responsibilities
– Image Enhancement:Retouching and enhancing digital images to improve overall appearance, clarity, and visual impact.
– Color Correction: Adjusting color balance, saturation, and tone to achieve desired color accuracy and consistency.
– Skin Retouching: Smoothing skin, removing blemishes, and minimizing imperfections while maintaining a natural and realistic look.
-Background Removal: Removing or replacing backgrounds to create a clean and polished appearance.
– Photo Compositing: Combining multiple images or elements to create seamless compositions and visual effects.
– Detail Enhancement:Enhancing details, textures, and fine lines to add depth and dimension to images.
– Client Collaboration: Collaborating with photographers, art directors, and clients to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality results.
– Deadline Management: Managing time effectively to meet project deadlines and deliverables while maintaining quality standards.
– Continuous Learning: Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and new editing techniques to enhance skills and expertise.
Skills and Qualifications
– Proficiency in photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or Capture One.
– Strong understanding of photography principles, color theory, and digital imaging techniques.
– Attention to detail and a keen eye for composition, lighting, and aesthetics.
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
– Time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
– Creativity and artistic vision to conceptualize and execute visually compelling edits.
– Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and client preferences.
– Previous experience or formal training in photography, graphic design, or digital media production is preferred but not required.
Specific Requirements
– Touch-Up Skills: Remove dust and scratches, spots, blemishes, acne, dirt, and unwanted details. Fix body shape, eyebrows, eyelashes, eye bags, wrinkles, teeth, and eye whiteness. Adjust skin smoothness, skin tone, dark circles, exposure, color balance, eye redness, and virtual makeup.
– Language Proficiency
– Technical Proficiency:Lead Management, Wave, Zoom, Open Phone, PayPal.
– Internet Requirements: Reliable internet connection with at least 75 Mbps upload and download speeds.
– Availability: Open availability to submit and edit photos.
