Job Description
We are seeking an experienced PHP Developer to join our team and play a key role in the development and enhancement of our web-based order management application. This role involves working closely with our IT and business teams to improve our existing systems and contribute to the development of new features.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain PHP-based backend systems for our order management application, focusing on performance, reliability, and scalability.
Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Work with relational databases, primarily PostgreSQL, and manage data interchange between the server and the users.
Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability.
Implement security and data protection measures.
Design and implement new features and functionality based on business requirements.
Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from conception to deployment.
Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Requirements:
Proven software development experience in PHP.
Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools, and web services.
Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, etc.).
Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony, etc.).
Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions.
Understanding accessibility and security compliance.
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Desirable Skills:
Experience with front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming.
Understanding of MVC design patterns.
Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds.
Experience with PostgreSQL and writing complex SQL queries.
Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system.
Understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
