Responsibilities
Work our core business hours and communicate via Slack chat
Work with your designated project manager to define the project requirements, scope and provide realistic estimations for all assigned projects/tasks
Effectively plan, code and deploy highly scalable, well-designed solutions to ensure the fastest, most reliable and efficient user experience for our customers and internal team members
Unit and regression testing of code to ensure product integrity and runtime efficiency
Continually automate our systems to streamline productivity and help our team reach our overall business needs and goals
Responsible for programming, maintenance, technical support, documentation and the administration of our core applications, databases, and microservices.
Complete all assigned tasks in a timely manner, while frequently logging time spent, and update the estimation of completion dates
Qualifications
Tech Stack Requirements
Minimum 3 years of commercial experience.
Extremely Proficient in PHP
3+ years of experience with JavaScript, HTML5, jQuery, Bootstrap, CSS
2+ years experience building elegant and RESTful Web APIs
3+ years coding optimized SQL queries for data storage, data persistence and caching
2+ years of data management using an ORM framework like Doctrine/Entity
2+ years of working in an Agile/DevOps/Scrum software development environment
2+ years of experience with both modern and legacy Open Source frameworks like Symfony, Doctrine
Third-party integration of SOAP, REST, and JSON APIs
Thorough understanding of Git source control. Utilizing workflows, sub-modules and feature branching (experience with CI/CD is a bonus)
Conceptual knowledge of software architecture principles, and common design patterns
