Physical Therapy Medical Biller

Responsibilities:
Coordinate with medical staff to manage daily schedules and ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.
Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain pre-authorizations for procedures.
Liaise with insurance providers to clarify coverage details and track the status of pending insurance claims.
Assist patients with insurance-related queries and process and submit claims to insurance.
Follow up on unpaid claims, resolve billing discrepancies, and review and appeal denied claims.
Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations and generate billing reports for management.
Manage accounts payable/receivable and oversee revenue cycle management.

Requirements:
Mastery of insurance, billing, and accounts receivable management processes.
Experience with insurance verification, authorization management, and clean claim submission.
Proficiency in using electronic medical records (WebPT) and billing software (Tebra/Kareo).
Exceptional communication skills with a focus on providing positive and exceptional customer experiences.
Strong motivation to optimize financial aspects of the business related to reimbursement.
Ability to work well in a high-performance environment focused on quality and teamwork.
