Plumbing Drafter

talented Plumbing Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in
plumbing drafting and design, with proficiency in industry-standard software and a meticulous
attention to detail. As a Plumbing Drafter, you will play a crucial role in developing detailed
drawings and schematics for plumbing systems and components.

Responsibilities:
? Develop detailed plumbing drawings, schematics, and diagrams based on project
requirements and specifications.
? Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify plumbing designs.
? Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to understand project
goals, requirements, and constraints.
? Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, standards, and regulations in all design work.
? Reviewarchitectural and engineering plans to identify plumbing system requirements
and integration points.
? Coordinate with other disciplines (e.g., electrical, mechanical) to ensure seamless
integration of plumbing systems with overall building designs.
? Conduct field surveys and assessments to gather relevant data and information for
design purposes.
? Generate bills of materials (BOM) and other documentation to support procurement and
construction activities.
? Provide technical support to project teams, contractors, and other stakeholders as
needed.
? Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings, and project updates to ensure
alignment with project objectives and timelines.
? Stayinformed about advancements in plumbing technology, materials, and industry best
practices.
? Contribute to the continuous improvement of drafting processes, standards, and tools
within the organization.

Requirements:
? Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing Design, or related
field.
? Proven experience as a Plumbing Drafter or similar role in plumbing design and drafting.
? Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD MEP, Revit
MEP, or similar tools.
? Strong understanding of plumbing principles, codes, and standards (e.g., IPC, UPC).
? Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality drawings.
? Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate with
multidisciplinary teams.
? Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
? Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
? Prior experience in the construction, engineering, or building services industry is
preferred.
? Knowledge of plumbing systems and components, including piping, fixtures, valves, and
drainage systems.
