Position Overview:
As a Podcast and Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual and auditory identity of our brand. You will be responsible for editing and enhancing both podcast episodes and video content, ensuring a seamless and polished final product. This role requires a keen eye for detail, proficiency in audio and video editing software, and a passion for storytelling.

Responsibilities:
1. Audio Editing:
– Edit and enhance podcast episodes to ensure high audio quality, smooth transitions, and an engaging listener experience.
– Clean and remove background noise, add music or sound effects where necessary, and adjust audio levels for clarity.

2. Video Editing:
– Edit video content to create visually appealing and cohesive stories that align with our brand identity.
– Incorporate graphics, animations, and other visual elements to enhance the overall production value of videos.
– Ensure proper pacing, timing, and sequencing of shots for maximum impact.

3. Collaboration:
– Work closely with content creators, producers, and other team members to understand the vision and goals of each project.
– Incorporate feedback and make revisions to meet the desired outcome.

4. Technical Expertise:
– Stay current with industry trends and advancements in audio and video editing software/tools.
– Troubleshoot technical issues related to audio and video production equipment.

5. Quality Control:
– Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure all edited content meets the company’s standards and guidelines.

Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a Podcast and Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
– Proficiency in audio editing software (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition) and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
– Solid understanding of storytelling and the ability to enhance content through creative editing techniques.
– Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
– Knowledge of current trends in podcasting and video production.
– Attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Technical Requirements:
– Proficient in working with Mac operating systems for all recording and editing processes.
