As a Podcast Audio/Video Editor you will play a crucial role in the post-production process. You will be responsible for taking raw audio and video footage from our podcasts and crafting it into finished products that meet our high standards of quality and creativity. This includes ensuring seamless transitions, enhancing sound quality, and incorporating visual elements where applicable.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Edit raw podcast audio and video content to create compelling, high-quality episodes.
Apply your expertise to enhance audio quality, including adjusting levels, removing background noise, and adding effects where necessary.
Implement creative visual elements to complement the audio content.
Collaborate closely with our content creators to understand their vision and translate it into the final product.
Produce short-form content, such as teasers, highlights, and promotional clips to engage our audience across various platforms.
Be Responsible for completing various tasks that will be due daily and on a weekly basis. As well as special projects that need to be completed every 30-90 days based on production queue and our long term vision.
This is a work-from-home position so you must have fast and reliable internet and a computer that can handle the video editing.
This is a full time salary based position with bonuses based on projects being completed before schedule and performance.
Job Requirements:
Proven experience in editing raw podcast audio and video, showcasing your ability to turn them into polished, finished products.
Proficiency in using industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro).
Strong understanding of audio editing techniques, including equalization, compression, and noise reduction.
Familiarity with visual editing and the ability to incorporate graphics or video elements to enhance the content.
Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for visual and auditory nuances.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with content creators and other team members.
Work-from-home setup with at least 20 mbps main internet service provider; 4GB RAM; at least an i5 processor.
Backup internet connection with at least 20 Mbps and backup power that can last up to 8 hours.
Compensation
SALARY OFFER:
$600 during 90 day probation. Up to $1200 after probation depending on performance.
