Job Description:
The Podcast Content Assistant supports the Podcast and Event Manager. They help with the publication of events and podcast episodes on the website. They are also involved in research and editorial tasks. The assistant may also be responsible for other tasks, such as researching potential guests and guest appearances. The assistant’s work is essential to the success of the podcast and events as they help to ensure that everything runs smoothly and the content is of high quality.
Key Responsibilities:
– Publication of the event on the website and all landing pages
– Publication of the podcast episode on the website and generation of podcast links
– Publishing the guest appearances on the website (TBSG & JB), including the creation of the featured image
– Extracting the intro clip for promotion
– Correcting transcripts and adding thumbnails to the video
– Researching possible guests for the Kalicube Tuesdays series and guest appearances for Jason

Requirements:
A stable internet connection and a backup plan
A reliable PC or laptop and backup solution
A webcam and microphone
Detail-oriented
Flexible
Responsible and can work independently
Strong writing and research skills
WordPress skills are an advantage, but not required
Passion for listening to podcasts
Understanding of marketing and promotion strategies
Experience using photo, audio or video editing software such as Canva
Excellent communication skills
(Not a requirement, but having the ability to converse in Cebuano would be an added advantage.)
