Aviation Mentors is looking for a motivated and experienced Podcast Coordinator to join our team. As the Podcast Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and growing our podcast channel. It will be your duty to edit and distribute high-quality audio content, manage the production process, and optimize our podcast’s reach and engagement. Our podcast is moving to video as well as audio, so the ability to edit video in addition to audio is a requirement.

About Us

The Aviation Mentors Podcast is a new podcast series that focuses on the aviation industry and provides insights, advice, and guidance for aspiring pilots, aviation professionals, and aviation enthusiasts. The podcast aims to bring together experienced aviation professionals and industry leaders to share their knowledge, expertise, and experiences with the listeners.

Job Brief As our Podcast Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for editing audio and creating transcripts, creating show notes and outtake quotes, creating artwork for the episodes and for social media, and updating our podcast website. You will also be distributing the audio to all platforms.

Responsibilities – Manage the day-to-day operations of our podcast channel, including scheduling, recording, and post-production.

-Work closely with the team to develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with our audience’s interests.

– Coordinate with guests and hosts to ensure timely delivery of content and manage the production process.

– Optimize our podcast for search engine optimization (SEO) and promote the podcast through social media and other channels.

– Analyze data and metrics to measure podcast performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize reach and engagement.

– Develop and maintain relationships with podcasting platforms, sponsors, and partners.

– Edit audio for the podcast recording.

Requirements and skills – Proven work experience as Podcast Coordinator

– Strong project management skills and attention to detail

– Knowledge of podcasting platforms and social media marketing

– Skills with content creation for social media

– Experience in audio and video editing and cleaning – Exquisite communication and interpersonal skills.

– Proficient in English and US Grammar

– Experience with audio editing software, such as Adobe Audition or GarageBand

– Excellent communication regarding deadlines and needs

– Expectation of 40 Hours per week and dedicated to only working for us

– Familiarity and skill with AI, especially Prompt Engineering, is not a requirement but is encouraged.

Work Schedule: 8 am to 5 pm PST, Mondays through Fridays
