Job Title: Podcast Editor and Content Manager

Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Podcast Editor and Content Manager. As a standup comedian, you understand the importance of captivating and engaging content, and we are looking for someone who can help us maximize the reach and impact of our podcast episodes through various social media platforms.

Responsibilities:
1. Audio Mixing and Mastering: You will be responsible for receiving raw podcast video and audio files from the comedian and ensuring high-quality sound production. This includes mixing and mastering the audio to achieve optimal clarity and volume levels.

2. Topic Timestamping: You will listen to the podcast episodes and accurately place timestamps whenever a new topic or segment begins. This will help our audience navigate through the episodes more easily.

3. Highlight Reels Creation: Using your creative skills, you will select the most engaging and entertaining moments from each podcast episode and create 4 highlights per episode. These highlights should range between 20-60 seconds and will later be repurposed for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook Reels.

4. Thumbnail Creation: Based on a provided blueprint, you will design eye-catching and visually appealing thumbnails for the podcast highlights. These thumbnails should attract viewers’ attention and entice them to click and watch the content.

5. Title and Caption Creation: You will develop compelling titles and captions that accurately represent the content of the podcast highlights. These should be attention-grabbing, concise, and optimized for each platform to maximize reach and engagement.

6. Hashtag Strategy and Marketing: Utilizing your knowledge of social media platforms, you will strategically select and incorporate relevant hashtags to optimize visibility and increase views for each video. Your goal will be to enhance discoverability and attract new viewers to our podcast content.

Requirements:
– Proven experience in audio editing, preferably in a podcasting or similar environment.
– Proficiency in audio mixing and mastering software/tools.
– Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately timestamp podcast episodes.
– Creative mindset with a keen eye for visually appealing designs.
– Proficient in graphic design tools/software for thumbnail creation.
– Familiarity with social media platforms and their content formats (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook Reels).
– Excellent written communication skills for crafting captivating titles, captions, and hashtags.
– Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.
– Passion for comedy and entertainment industry is a plus.
